La route ondule un peu durant vingt kilom\u00e8tres avant de se redresser m\u00e9chamment ! La pente est bien raide d&rsquo;autant plus que les virages sont tr\u00e8s, tr\u00e8s relev\u00e9s, aux alentours de 15 %. Pause repas au sommet et fini les mont\u00e9es, \u00e7a repose !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais il faut s&rsquo;h\u00e9berger. Il y a bien un \u00ab\u00a0<strong>resort<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb mais vu le prix, nous en <strong>ressortons<\/strong> illico ! Les pentes sont moins raides et plus r\u00e9guli\u00e8res. Sur la route, ils sont l\u00e9gions \u00e0 scooter \u00e0 quitter ou entrer \u00e0 Pai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce soir, les rues principales de Pai grouillent de monde, restaurants, caf\u00e9s et bars ne d\u00e9semplissent pas ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas grand chose \u00e0 voir ici hormis quelques temples sans trop d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat. Nous cherchons une agence qui pourrait nous proposer une d\u00e9couverte de la proche r\u00e9gion. Finalement, nous nous rabattons sur un tour classique pour touristes lambda !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La journ\u00e9e se termine sous un violent orage avec tonnerre et pluie violente ! Nous y avons rencontr\u00e9 un couple de Fran\u00e7ais, deux Hongrois, une Italienne et une Asiatique, tous fort sympathiques !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Une sortie qui ressemble \u00e0 un inventaire \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 la Pr\u00e9vert\u00a0\u00bb ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Des bains chauds ! (nous remarquons que les femmes de ces pays se baignent tout habill\u00e9es !)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Un bouddha blanc ! *<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Le village chinois de Santichon !<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>La cascade de Pambok ! **<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Le pont de bambou de Kho Ku So ! ***<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Le canyon de Pai au coucher du soleil ! **<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Ils nous ont reconnus et font demi-tour pour savoir ce que nous devenons !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beaucoup de cultures de mandariniers de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9 de cette route ! Trois fois nous sommes descendus pour pousser les v\u00e9los !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voici enfin le col (844 m). Nous entamons la descente (si ! si !) mais avec quelques mont\u00e9es quand m\u00eame ! Et&#8230; surprise, une nouvelle mont\u00e9e d&rsquo;enfer : 1,5 km \u00e0 14 % de moyenne !!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notre souci, ce soir, c&rsquo;est qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas d&rsquo;h\u00e9bergement par ici ! Nous trouvons bien une sorte d&rsquo;abri mais pas d&rsquo;eau. Il vaut mieux p\u00e9daler le matin, c&rsquo;est plus \u00ab\u00a0frais\u00a0\u00bb !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un superbe lieu de bivouac avec eau et toilettes dans un cadre extraordinaire. C&rsquo;est notre premier bivouac du voyage. Les Kayans sont un sous groupe des Karens rouges. Depuis les ann\u00e9es 1950 mais plus r\u00e9cemment \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1980 et au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1990, en raison du conflit avec le r\u00e9gime militaire du Myanmar, de nombreux membres de la tribu Kayan ont fui vers les zones frontali\u00e8res tha\u00eflandaises.&nbsp;<br>Parmi les camps de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s mis en place, il y avait une section \u00ab long cou \u00bb. Bien plaisante, cette petite balade !<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Une route existe mais elle se termine sur la rive oppos\u00e9e au village et il faut prendre une pirogue pour y acc\u00e9der !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 53%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>C&rsquo;est un village tourn\u00e9 vers le tourisme. Pour nous, c&rsquo;est le nombre qui cr\u00e9e ce voyeurisme quand d\u00e9barquent, par exemple, de nombreux groupes en m\u00eame temps. Mais, paradoxalement, le volume de ventes de leurs productions artisanales est li\u00e9 \u00e0 la fr\u00e9quentation. Or, l&rsquo;apport financier des touristes n&rsquo;est pas non plus n\u00e9gligeable. Plus il y a de touristes, plus il y a de ventes !
