A l&rsquo;office du tourisme, une personne fort sympathique nous indique un itin\u00e9raire cyclable pour remonter le Val de Sole. Ce sera pour demain.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-luminous-vivid-amber-to-luminous-vivid-orange-gradient-background has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>La construction de la route du col dura 5 ans, de 1880 \u00e0 1885. En 1886, l&rsquo;ancienne ferme Mendelhof, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 des comtes de Thoune pendant des si\u00e8cles, fut transform\u00e9e en h\u00f4tel et spa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Station thermale, le col devint rapidement une destination de vacances r\u00e9put\u00e9e tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e de la noblesse de toute l&rsquo;Europe&nbsp;:&nbsp;Fran\u00e7ois-Joseph&nbsp;<abbr title=\"premier\">I<sup>er<\/sup><\/abbr>, empereur d&rsquo;Autriche, s\u00e9journa \u00e0 Mendola en 1903. La&nbsp;Premi\u00e8re Guerre mondiale&nbsp;a mis un terme brutal aux activit\u00e9s thermales.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous descendons au camping de Sarnico mais vu le prix (58 euros) et l&rsquo;allure de l&rsquo;endroit, nous irons ailleurs ! Nous arrivons au camping \u00e0 18 h.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce matin, il pleut et nous sommes bloqu\u00e9s dans ce camping pas tr\u00e8s bien am\u00e9nag\u00e9 pour les campeurs. On peut m\u00eame y manger ce qui est tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ciable.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dimaro est un haut lieu du rafting et le mauvais temps n&#8217;emp\u00eache pas les sorties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-luminous-vivid-amber-to-luminous-vivid-orange-gradient-background has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Val de Sole n&rsquo;est pas, comme on pourrait le penser, le Val du Soleil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tymologie du nom de&nbsp;<em>Sole<\/em>&nbsp;vient probablement de la d\u00e9esse&nbsp;celtique&nbsp;de l&rsquo;eau&nbsp;Sulis&nbsp;que les&nbsp;Romains&nbsp;ont appel\u00e9&nbsp;Minerve. Ceci est corrobor\u00e9 par l&rsquo;existence de sources thermales encore de nos jours dans la vall\u00e9e \u00e0&nbsp;Peio&nbsp;et&nbsp;Rabbi.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Le lendemain, le temps est toujours moyen et nous filons vers le village d&rsquo;Ossana et son ch\u00e2teau. L&rsquo;importance du Tonale d&rsquo;autrefois est rappel\u00e9 par la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;un hospice (1&nbsp;971&nbsp;m) au nord-est du col lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De 1854 \u00e0 1856 l&rsquo;ancien sentier muletier est remplac\u00e9 par une route moderne qui est initialement construite pour des questions principalement militaires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le col a servi de fronti\u00e8re entre la Lombardie \u00e0 l&rsquo;ouest et le Tyrol \u00e0 l&rsquo;est. C&rsquo;est grand, pas tr\u00e8s beau et il y a m\u00eame des immeubles ! Ici, de nombreuses remont\u00e9es m\u00e9caniques montent randonneurs, v\u00e9t\u00e9tistes et touristes vers les sommets. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s notre petit caf\u00e9 journalier, une belle descente nous conduit \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e du Val Zozzine. Elle serpente entre les champs, monte et descend en for\u00eat, emprunte parfois de petites routes, c&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9 ! De plus, elle est tr\u00e8s correctement balis\u00e9e et est nettement descendante. Station qui n&rsquo;a rien d&rsquo;enthousiasmant. Une piste cyclable qui relie Bormio \u00e0 Colico sur 114 km ! Nous allons la parcourir de Tresenda \u00e0 Colico sur 80 km environ !!! <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Bon, c&rsquo;est plat, mais cette piste n&rsquo;est jamais ennuyeuse.
